This linocut print makes me breathe deeper and slower by simply looking at it, capturing a calm and still sea, kissed by the warm sunlight of a sunset.
This is a handmade reduction print, meaning that it is printed from one block of lino that is carved more after each layer and colour is printed, and as such no further prints can made.
There is a small variable edition of just 12 prints with 2 subtle variations within the edition. 7 prints have a vibrant, more orange sunset, and 5 have a slightly softer, warm yellow sunset. As with all original prints, every print will have its own more subtle variations , but as there is a more obvious difference between the two colours in this edition I wanted to highlight this and there is an option to select which variation you would prefer, depending on stock levels and availability.
